More about Bordeaux Supérieur

Bordeaux Superieur is designation that requires a higher level of alcohol than basic Bordeaux AC. Bordeaux Superieur wines are aged for longer in oak barrels and are produced from older vines. They also, theoretically, offer better ageing potential, more complex due to lower yield dictated by the Superieur production conditions.
